I especially enjoyed the reading of this poem. I liked the fact that Kristin read it in a conversational style; I felt that the intonations she used made it easier to understand.
I also liked the poem itself and the way it discussed death as a inevitable and sometimes necessary thing, especially for someone you don’t like. The way Swift wrote about death was especially harsh in that he basically said that no one cried at his funeral because he made them cry during his lifetime. This is extremely harsh criticism and Swift succeeds in making the reader believe that the duke was a terrible person and the world is better off without him.
